Saturday, October 15, 2006, drew several thousand people from over 20 denominations to the Missouri State Fairgrounds, in Sedalia, Missouri.  Final reports will not be available until the first of the year.  However, from all indications it was a record year for gifts for those in need.  Usually only one semi-truck is loaded with Church World Service Kits.  This year two semi-trucks were loaded to capacity with extra kits brought back to the Office of Creative Ministries for a later shipment.  Pictured above is the bustle of activity as rice and beans were sacked, kits were boxed and distributed and beautiful quilts were auctioned.
