"Mission In MOtion" (10 minutes) (DVD)

This video was produced for the 2005 Annual Conference and provides a good introduction to the many mission concerns, programs and agencies of the Missouri Conference. It is fast moving and up beat. In ten minutes it touches on Volunteers in Missions, the Harvest of Hope, the Festival of Sharing, the Mozambique Initiative, Disaster Response and much more. Also featured are many of our district superintendents on a VIM team in Jamaica. (Also available for purchase for $5)

"A Day at the Festival of Sharing" (13 minutes) (VHS)
Get a good look at what goes on at the Festival of Sharing, held the third Saturday of October each year at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, Missouri. See the unloading and processing of thional animals arriving, the potato drop, the food court and the worship time. It is a beehive of activity that you will not want to miss seeing.

Mozambique Chiquque Hospital and Telis Orphanage (40 minutes) (VHS)
Simone Velhelman, DDS served as a Dentist Volunteer in Mission from the United Methodist Church of Germany to Mozambique. She set up a dental clinic at Chiquque Hospital and visited the children at the Telis Orphanage. In this video she will take you on a delightful and entertaining journey to Mozambique. The video is divided into three parts so that all or just parts may be viewed. Part 1 - Chiquque Hospital, Part 2 - General Information about Mozambique, Part 3 - Telis Orphanage. Harvest of Hope (Society of St. Andrew) (8 minutes) (VHS)
Gleaning potatoes, shopping for groceries with $5, serving at a soup kitchen, reading what the Bible says about hunger, singing during worship, acting out Biblical passages, and just plain having fun are all a part of a Harvest of Hope week. Harvest of Hope is the youth hunger education program of the Society of St. Andrew. Learn about it from the youth themselves as they share their experience in this fast moving video.

Mozambique: Building the Church Together (10 minutes) (VHS)
You will see true togetherness as people from Missouri and people from Mozambique join hands to build a church. The VIM team traveled to Mozambique during the Mozambique Initiative when the Missouri Youth Choir and many others from Missouri were present.
